Based in Scunthorpe and sponsored by Jack Tighe, SPCC has a strong tradition of cycle racing at national and divisional level. Our club specialises in hard track and grass track racing but also enjoys considerable success in all areas of cycle racing, including: road races, criteriums, time trials and cyclo cross. Tony Nash wins a gold medal in the 2011 Masters Track championship in the 45-50 age category. The 2011 championships were held at the Newport velodrome in Wales. Tony produced a stunning ride in the points race, lapping the field twice to win the gold medal.

Due to the poor weather conditions in May the track league will start later on Friday 11th May at 7pm. Steve Parsons posts updates on the Veloriders website if you are not sure about traveling due to wet weather.
